Privacy notice
This notice explains how Little Otters Daycare Centre Ltd. ("Little Otters", "we") handles personal information collected through this website. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- Enquiry and tour forms: your name, phone number, email (optional), preferred contact method, your child's first name and date of birth (optional), the program and start date you're interested in, and anything you choose to write in your message.
- How you found us: the page you arrived on, the referring website and any campaign tags in the link (for example, from an ad). This helps us understand which outreach is useful to families.
- Analytics: if we use Google Analytics, it only runs after you agree in the cookie banner, and it measures pages visited, not who you are.
Please don't include medical or other sensitive details in a web form; we'll talk about your child's needs in person.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a tour, and tell you about availability or our waitlist.
- To send a confirmation email and, if you asked, occasional updates about openings or events. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand, in aggregate, how families find us.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone outside Little Otters except service providers who help us run this website and email (who must protect it), or where the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to two years after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on waitlist spaces. After that, we delete them. If you enrol, your child's records are handled under our enrolment policies and Alberta's licensing requirements.
Security
Enquiries are stored in a secure database that only authorized Little Otters staff can access, behind a password-protected login. The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you've given us, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Call 780-986-6848.
Photos and videos of children
We only publish photos or videos in which a child can be identified with written permission from their parent or guardian. The photos and videos on this website show our rooms, building and staff.
